Key information

Duration:
2 years part time
Start date:
September 2020
Apply by:
1 August 2020

Corruption damages economic development and the health of civil society, nationally and internationally. At our world-leading Sussex Centre for the Study of Corruption, we analyse what corruption is, where and why it flourishes and what can be done to counteract it.

The course has a particular focus on the problems being encountered in the Arabian Gulf region – giving you a thorough understanding of what corruption is, what causes it, and what does and doesn’t appear to work in trying to tackle it. We work closely with organisations such as the United Nations and NGOs such as Transparency International to develop strategies in the struggle against corruption.

You gain an overview of the legislative and regulatory solutions to confront the rapidly changing forms of corrupt practices at national and international levels.

Accreditation

Taught in English and delivered in Qatar, this LLM is accredited by the Qatar Ministry of Education.
