Undergraduate Open Days

Our Open Days are the best way to get a taste of life at Sussex. You’ll learn more about our courses, have the opportunity to chat to current students and meet the academics you’ll be learning from.

On-campus Open Days: Saturday 3 June 2023 or pre-register for our October Open days

We’re delighted to be able to invite you to visit our campus and experience Sussex in person at one of our Undergraduate Open Days this year.

At an Open Day you can:

  • meet the academics you’ll be learning from to find out more about your subject of interest
  • talk to current students about life at Sussex and in Brighton
  • get practical advice from our expert staff to make your application to Sussex stand out
  • explore our beautiful campus on a guided tour and check out our facilities and accommodation options
  • attend a dedicated session for Mature Students.

The Open Day will run from 9am to 3.30pm. We will send you a programme of the day’s events in the weeks leading up to the Open Day to help you plan and prioritise the events that interest you the most.

Please note we are continuing to monitor the government guidance on Covid-19, therefore all upcoming events may be subject to social distancing restrictions.

Planned railway industrial action

Due to planned industrial action on the railway network in June, there are unlikely to be any trains running to our campus on Saturday 3 June.

Catching a bus directly from either Brighton or Lewes to our campus in Falmer couldn't be easier. Find out how to get to the Sussex campus by bus.

You can also continue to check the National Rail or Southern Railway websites for the latest information about planned rail train strikes.
