Our staff gym memberships come in at very reasonable prices that compete with even the cheapest of gyms, add to this the bonus that you can pay before tax through salary deduction and you will realise we have aimed our prices at helping staff stay active. With a variety of options from pay as you go to full access memberships you can choose which option suits you. Contact our reception team on 01273 678228 or pop in for a friendly informative interaction.

Sussexsport Classes

We offer a year round fitness timetable of classes to suit all needs and abilities which can be attended by University of Sussex staff at the discounted staff rate. You can also sign up to one of our staff memberships that make the classes even more reduced in price and they are included in certain membership levels.

To see our up to date timetable then come along to one of our receptions at either of our two sites on campus or follow this link group fitness classes.

Signed Run Route

For those of you that enjoy running then why not try following the signed run route around the boundary of the campus which takes in some of the surrounding countryside of the sussex downs. We have staff that can help point you in the right direction to get started, so that you can follow the waymarkers around the trail which is around 4.5km long. If you would prefer to be guided or run the trail with others then we organise runs and hold annual boundary runs and walks. You could also venture  into the sussex downs which is on the campus doorstep.
