Steering group

The Institute is led by a Director, working collaboratively with a Steering Group drawn from faculty in the School of Media, Arts and Humanities and from our doctoral community. Our aims are: 

• To maximise broader participation in the creative and strategic steering of our research environment for colleagues at different stages of their careers across our School, and to make it possible for ECRs to gain research experience. 
• To conduct a call and choose two themes a year to constellate activity around with some possibilities of seed funding  
• To work with our Research Curators to programme events ahead of time. 
• To decide on Institute fellows as that becomes possible. 
• Meetings: one meeting each term, and participation in Institute activities as they arise.
