The Royal Society offers a 5-year University Research Fellowship. We welcome Royal Society Fellows at Sussex, but we can submit only a limited number of candidates, so we are holding an internal selection process. Please email a CV and a draft research proposal to Jonas Lindert, and arrange for two letters of reference to be sent to him by 10 July 2025.

If you wish to apply for an STFC Ernest Rutherford Fellowship as well, please follow the procedure explained here instead. If you are eligible, your application with be automatically considered for a Royal Society University Research Fellowship.

If you wish to be considered by more than one research group, please send your application to all relevant contacts, as shortlisting will be carried out independently by each group.
