Summer weekly meal allowance
If you’re studying with the Undergraduate Summer School you’ll be issued with a meal allowance card. Your card will load with £25 every week for you to spend in any SussexFood outlet across campus.
Check back later in the year for further information on how and where you can use your card.

Located in the heart of campus, Eat Central canteen serves globally inspired food throughout the day.
From fresh croissants and bagels during breakfast to Moroccan tagines during lunch and dinner, Eat Central is a great place to restore energy and catch up with friends after lectures.
Arts Piazza is a coffee-lovers dream, thanks to its triple-certified coffee and first-rate baristas.
Accompanied by a delicious range of home-made cakes, bakes and other treats, Arts Piazza maintains a homely feel in the centre of a buzzing campus.
Falmer Bar is a lively Students’ Union venue, serving a wide range of hot food and drinks at student-friendly prices.
Newly renovated, the bar overlooks a large patio garden perfect for sunny days, people-watching and enjoying one of the best sunsets in Brighton.
Elsewhere on campus
There’s plenty of other options to choose from with nine Sussex Food outlets open during the summer, including Street Food from our pop-up outlets, vegetarian options from Dhaba and homemade cakes from Library Café.
All SussexFood outlets offer contemporary menus and an ethical approach to sourcing ingredients.

If you fancy exploring the city, you can also eat out at hundreds of restaurants and cafés in Brighton. Whether you want to dine in style or grab a cheap deal, there’s a variety of eateries to suit every taste and budget.
Alternatively, our accommodation is self-catered. Buy groceries from local supermarkets, including the Co-op based on campus.
