Recent work led by Keisuke Suzuki on simulating experiences of visual hallucination in virtual reality has received considerable media attention with coverage in prominent publications including The Times and El Pais. See here for more.

Time in Tokyo 2016
Warrick Roseboom and Keisuke Suzuki recently organised the successful Time in Tokyo – International Symposium on Time Perception and Experience. This meeting aimed to bring together researchers from across the world to discuss philosophical, human behavioural, neuroimaging, clinical, and artificial systems approaches to understanding time perception and experience.

Gorkem Er: Cognitive Neuroscience MSc, University of Sussex 2016. Gorkem’s project investigated how multisensory relative timing is represented in the human brain using a sensory adaptation paradigm.
Michaela Klimova: Research Assistant, 2016-2017. Michaela worked on a variety of things including the neurophysiological correlates of temporal prediction and the role of perceptual grouping in temporal ventriloquism.
Isabel Ortigosa: MSc student. Isabel worked on the relation between multisensory synchrony and integration using psychophysical and modelling approaches.
Darren Rhodes: Post-doctoral researcher 2016-2017. Darren’s work focused primarily on using Bayesian models to describe the influence of recent experience on subsequent temporal perception.
Francesca Simonelli: Erasmus+ Intern, University of Padua, 2016. Francesca’s work focused primarily on an investigation of the influence of interoception on time perception.
