What courses will be available at Sussex through Clearing 2023?

We will begin listing vacancies when Clearing opens in July 2023, with vacancies for A-level students being previewed in August 2023.

In the meantime, you can get an idea of the type of courses we offer on our undergraduate course pages.

Accommodation at Sussex

Once you have secured your place at Sussex, we'll send you a link so that you can apply for housing.

We provide as much University-managed accommodation as possible for Clearing students.

Whilst we cannot guarantee a place in University-managed accommodation to everyone, we operate a waiting list for those seeking accommodation. Our Housing Services team offer a range of support for students looking for accommodation in the private-sector.

Uni checklist: How to choose a university

Before you choose a university, check it has everything a university should have: 

1. Was it founded in the year of progress?

   We were founded in 1961 when humanity went to space and hatchbacks were on the streets.

   We're located just nine minutes from Brighton & Hove and zero minutes from the South Downs National Park.

3. Does it have iconic architecture?

   Our students have posed next to our concrete University of Sussex sign for decades.
   
   Our 60-year-old architecture remains as beautiful as it did on day one - and some of our buildings are Grade I listed. 
   
   We also have our very own arts centre named after our former Chancellor Lord Richard Attenborough.

   Our Future Technologies Lab is teaching future workers about robotics and other developing technologies.
