Accommodation options

We offer a range of self-catered housing options to match your budget and your preferences. In each residence, your accommodation fee will cover all utilities including cleaning, security and contents insurance.

*Norwich House shared facilities consist of shower rooms with toilet cubicles. The shower rooms have 2-4 showers and toilet facilities have 2-3 toilets, shared between up to 12 students.

Studio rooms are generally allocated to students with medical requirements.

  • Students under the age of 18

    If you’re under the age of 18, we will allocate you into a residence where there is either a 24-hour reception, or 24-hour security available in close proximity.

  • Care leavers

    All undergraduate students coming directly to Sussex from local authority care, who apply for housing before the 31 July and who receive an unconditional offer, are entitled to University-managed accommodation.

    You will need to move rooms during the summer vacation and apply for accommodation annually.
