About STrAWB
Welcome to the STrAWB Hub!
STrAWB (Shared Training and Assessment for Well-Being) is a partnership between the universities of Oxford and Sussex. We have worked with foster carers, teachers, social workers, young people and mental health experts to develop a new training and assessment package to promote the mental health and well-being of looked after children. We are running a feasibility study to see whether everything works as it should, whether people would be willing to take part and how best we can evaluate STrAWB going forward.
This Hub is an online resource designed specifically for those taking part in the feasibility study to provide all of the information and resources needed in one place. If you are a member of the public seeking general information about STrAWB, please visit our main website.
Getting Started
As a first step, we recommend that you watch our two short films:
- STrAWB: What's It All About?, which explains why we’re doing the project and why STrAWB is important.
- Research Matters, which describes why the research element is important.
Navigating the Hub
There are five main areas of the Hub providing further information to support taking part:
- Meet the Team - Information about the team running the STrAWB feasibility study.
- Getting Involved - Information about what taking part means for you and next steps.
- Assessment Forms - Information about how to complete the STrAWB forms.
- Research Interviews - Information for those asked to take part in interviews about their experiences of being involved in STrAWB.
- Information & Support - Information about relevant help and support organisations.
We hope that you find the STrAWB Hub useful and if you have any suggestions for improvements, please do get in contact.
Thank you for your contribution to STrAWB.
