Research interviews

We are interviewing a small number of adults (carers, teachers and social workers) and the children they look after twice over the course of the project about their experience of taking part in STrAWB. If selected, you will be be contacted by a member of the STrAWB research team by email or telephone to request your involvement and, if you are a carer, that of the child you look after.

Please note, adults are interviewed by a researcher from the team at the University of Oxford or Sussex. Children are interviewed by a care-experienced researcher from Coram Voice, who are working with us on this project. By bringing informed and direct care experience, the Coram Voice researcher will ensure that the children's interviews feel safe and relevant for them to to take part in. During the Covid pandemic, interviews are done by telephone or online video chat but we may be able to offer face-to-face interviews if the situation changes.

The researcher will provide a more detailed information sheet, answer any questions and arrange a convenient date and time with you if you are selected and want to take part. To view the information sheets now, please click the links below.
