What is the Sussex scrapbook?

The Sussex scrapbook project is a collection of photographs and related material of Sussex over the years supplied by alumni and staff, and hosted on the Flickr photo sharing website. If you recognise a face, or remember what was going on at the time the picture was taken, you can add a comment or label to the image on Flickr, or email alumni@sussex.ac.uk and we can add a note.

How do I submit material?

You can submit images to us online here, or post your pictures to the Development and Alumni Relations Office, University of Sussex, Falmer, Brighton BN1 9QU. We will return all hard copy material submitted.

What kind of photos should I send?

We want a selection of pictures which show what Sussex was like during your time there - what were people wearing, what cars did they drive, what were the big political and news issues of the day? Plus we want some that people might recognise themselves or friends in, especially if you have group photos.

Why can't I find any pictures of my time at Sussex on the site?

Only because we don't have any available at present. We need your help to grow the collection. So have a look back in your albums and pick out some of your favourite memories of your time at Sussex to share with other alumni.
