Documentary film: "A Golden Opportunity"

Of all the new "plateglass" universities founded in the 1960's, none was as photographed and filmed as Sussex. So it's appropriate that a documentary film should be part of the 50th anniversary celebrations.

"A Golden Opportunity" looks at the university as it is now in 2011 and as it was in the beginning. With contributions from students and staff both past and present, and observations from former Vice-Chancellors Lord Briggs and Professor Michael Farthing, "A Golden Opportunity" asks whether the unique spirit of Sussex with its "new map of learning" has survived, and risks a look into the future.
