Discussants will present their comments to authors during the conference session.

Emerging ideas papers - PechaKucha style

We welcome presentations of emerging ideas for papers as well as show-and-tell presentations of teaching innovations under a PechaKucha-style format. Find an example presentation here.

This format is a simple presentation format where you show 20 slides, each for 20 seconds. Your presentation should be set to advance slides automatically every 20 seconds. Your total time for the presentation is therefore 400 seconds or approximately seven minutes.

There will be three minutes for questions and contributions from the audience immediately after the presentation with further discussion and collaboration encouraged in the breaks following each session.

For emerging ideas papers please submit an abstract of approximately 200 words, covering as many of the structured abstract sub-headings as appropriate, before 6 April 2018 for acceptance of the idea and inclusion in the conference programme. You will bring and set up your presentation on the day and do not need to provide a copy in advance.
