The political map of contemporary Europe is changing rapidly and fundamentally.

This module takes a comparative approach to look at politics across Europe to try to map some of the changes as well as identifying some of the constants. Rather than taking a country-by-country approach, this module addresses key themes that relate both to politics in general and to Europe in particular. The module addresses key comparative questions about governance that relate to institutions of politics and to the interaction of society and politics across Europe.
