The political map of modern Europe is changing rapidly and fundamentally.

On this module, you’ll compare and analyse European politics, map changes and identify constants.

You’ll address key themes that shape politics in general and Europe in particular.

You’ll explore key comparative questions about governance across Europe, including:

• institutions of politics

• how society and politics interact.

• Identify key features in the political institutions and processes of politics in European countries
• Explore some of the common challenges facing European governments and their citizens
• Relate abstract schemas and models to empirical examples in European politics
