  • Synthesise discipline specific research, policy and professional literature with the development of ideas and criticality in order to articulate informed educational approaches.
  • Articulate a coherent understanding of the uncertainties and limits of knowledge within secondary Mathematics and engage with your own personal bias and challenges surrounding education.
  • Critically apply evidence-informed approaches to your own reflection of professional practice experiences in preparation for future employment.
  • Self-reflect and evaluate your own personal strengths and weaknesses and proactively identify ways of managing your own learning and development.
  • Reflect with confidence and competence on current professional expectations and standards for Secondary Teachers (DfE, 2012 Teachers’ Standards).
