Eligibility
- Who is eligible
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must: - Be classified as ‘Overseas’ for fee purposes
- Have received an offer of a place to study a full time Bachelors degree at Sussex in 2026
- Be self-financing
- Have excellent academic grades (see 'Qualifications advice' for indication of minimum grades required; this does not include all accepted qualifications and is instead intended as guidance)

- Who isn’t eligible
You are not eligible for this scholarship if you: - Are applying for a Bachelors at a university that is not at the University of Sussex
- Are a current Sussex student
- Are progressing into the final year of an integrated Masters at Sussex
- Already hold another University of Sussex scholarship
 You are not eligible for this scholarship if you are going to study any of the following: - Courses at Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS)
- Degrees in Social Work (if receiving an NHS bursary)
- Courses which include Foundation Year
- PGCE courses
- School Direct teaching courses
- Postgraduate diplomas

This scholarship is awarded as a tuition fee in the first year only, no cash equivalent is available.
This scholarship is available for the 2026/27 academic year only, if a scholar defers or temporarily withdraws from their course, they will no longer be eligible to receive the scholarship.
