Researching for your Dissertation
This practical workshop for students undertaking a dissertation will help you to identify the best resources for your work. During the session you will have the opportunity to learn techniques to help you search more effectively, search for academic material using Library Search and specialist databases and resources, and learn about ways to manage your references.
By the end of this session, you will be able to:
- Find relevant high-quality information for your work.
- Carry out structured and unstructured searches.
- Build an advanced search strategy using Library Search.
