Media, Arts and Humanities Research Conversations: Beginnings
Monday 16 October 14:00 until 17:00
University of Sussex Campus : Silverstone SB112, SB302 and SB312
Before the summer we collectively resolved that our Media, Arts and Humanities Research Institute annual theme for 2023-24 would be 'Beginnings'. Starting off an exciting programme of events linked to this theme will be an initial Media, Arts and Humanities Research Conversation on Beginnings, open to all interested faculty and PGRs in and beyond the School.
Following our regular format this Conversation will have three parallel strands (see below) and will culminate in a plenary session that will bring all three strands together. As always, the discussions will be informal, with the primary aim of encouraging connections and potentially sparking new ideas and collaborations.
Each of the three themes will have a facilitator and will run for an hour and a half. The event will take place on the afternoon of Monday 16 October, between 2-5pm in the Media, Arts and Humanities Institute in the Silverstone Building in rooms SB302 (Research Common Room), SB112 (Ground floor social space) and SB312 (Doctoral Research Common Room). Please come along and engage with our theme. You will need to register to attend through Eventbrite.
Please only book a place at one session, as they all take place at the same time:

Following the plenary session there will be the opportunity to talk with colleagues along with refreshments and nibbles.
