Abdulrazak Gurnah in conversation with author Minoli Salgado
Sussex is honoured to welcome Abdulrazak Gurnah, for an evening of conversation with the critic and author Minoli Salgado.
Abdulrazak Gurnah is Emeritus Professor of English and Postcolonial Literatures at the University of Kent. He was awarded The Nobel Prize in Literature in 2021 "for his uncompromising and compassionate penetration of the effects of colonialism and the fate of the refugee in the gulf between cultures and continents".
Minoli Salgado is the author of Writing Sri Lanka, and of a number of works of fiction, including A Little Dust on the Eyes (2014) and Broken Jaw (2019).
