Research

I am a theoretical cosmologist affiliated with the Sussex Astronomy Centre. I am interested in the relationship between physics on the smallest scales (particles, fields) and the largest scales (the Universe), and generally what the Universe can teach us about fundamental physics. My main research interests include

  • Dark energy phenomenology
  • Topological Defects
  • Non-Gaussianity in the CMB
  • Physics of the Early Universe

I am also involved in several experimental / observational projects, including the Planck satellite and Euclid, an ESA cosmic vision project.
