Welcome to the Astronomy Centre
Our scientific research interests are tightly focused on the extra-galactic: cosmology; structure formation; clusters; galaxy formation and evolution. We address these questions with a full combination of theoretical, numerical and observational techniques.
We have the highest research impact in the UK in both Physics and Space Sciences and are a major factor in the University of Sussex being ranked highest by citation impact in all science.
