Ellen Thompson presented a poster 'Adverse childhood experiences and life course trajectories of anxiety and depression: the role of education' at the Society for Social Medicine 53rd Annual Scientific Meeting (York, UK, 2016). It is also published in the Journal of Epidemiology & Community Health 70(Suppl 1): A103.1-A103

Ellen Thompson has received a travel award to attend the 24th Biennial Meeting of the International Society for the Study of Behavioural Development (Vilnius, Lithuania, 2016), where she presented a poster 'Cumulative effect of family-related adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) on internalising symptoms in adulthood: evidence from a British birth cohort.' 

Darya Gaysina is invited to join the expert panel at the International Summer School ‘Interdisciplinary Approaches to the Study of Intelligence’ (St Petersburg, Russia, July, 2016).

A new book 'Behavioural Genetics for Education' edited by Yulia Kovas (Goldsmiths, University of London), Sergey Malykh (Russian Academy of Education), and Darya Gaysina (EDGE Lab, University of Sussex) has been published by Palgrave Macmillan (ISBN: 9781137437310). Find out more about the book on the publisher website or Amazon.
