Linklater Pavillion

Saturday, the 2nd of June, saw the Linklater Pavillion in Lewes host the Lewes Railway Land Festival. It included many attractions such as pond dipping, solar car racing, willow weaving, tasty local food, music, and puppet shows. Visitors could wander freely around the many stalls from the RSBP, Plumpton Agricultural College to the local brewery, Harveys Beer.

The Laboratory of Apiculture and Social Insects (LASI) talked about the life of the honey bee to keen members of the public using an observation hive which was linked to two televisions, and which is permanently housed at the Pavillion in Lewes. Below are a few pictures from this very successful event.
