Unibuddy Communities for offer holders

Get to know other offer-holders by joining a community of other students who plan to study at the University of Sussex this September.

Unibuddy Communities is a space for you to meet people planning to study the same subject as you, get to know your potential coursemates, meet other mature students, and get updates on upcoming events and webinars. With Unibuddy Communities, you can:

  • chat with offer holders studying the same course
  • ask questions to current student ambassadors
  • learn more about our local city of Brighton and Hove
  • discuss shared interested and hobbies
  • find out more about upcoming events, welcome activities, clubs and societies.

We have a range of communities by school, and communities for international students, Contextual offer holders and parents and carers too.

  • Be kind and courteous. Please treat everyone with respect and create a welcoming environment. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.
  • Do not share personal information. For now, we ask that you don’t share any personal information in the group, including phone numbers, social media handles, etc.
  • No hate or bullying. Make sure that everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind is not tolerated. Personal attacks, inflammatory remarks, profanity, or degrading comments about race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender, or identity will not be tolerated.
  • No promotions or spam. Give more to the groups that you take. Self-promotion, spam and irrelevant links are not allowed.
