A 15 credit, Autumn term module covering the key aspects of transactional banking law including the legal parameters and regulation of the bank-customer relationship, payment methods and bank finance. Recent developments in the banking industry will be analysed including innovations in lending (such as peer-to-peer lending) and the rise in third-party, non-bank, payment service providers (such as FinTechs).
