Professional Placement Year Physics & Astronomy (FP100)

This module augments and amplifies the overall BSc Physics and MPhys Physics course learning outcomes, and is designed to improve your employability by facilitating full-year and full-time professional/work placements.

The aim is to provide you with the opportunity to experience the practical applications of what you have learned during the preceding years of your degree. In addition, you can receive further training in the skills associated with your specific work placement.

We regularly review our modules to incorporate student feedback, staff expertise, as well as the latest research and teaching methodology. We’re planning to run these modules in the academic year 2021/22. However, there may be changes to these modules in response to feedback, staff availability, student demand or updates to our curriculum. We’ll make sure to let you know of any material changes to modules at the earliest opportunity.
