The Jan Metzger Scholarship in Intelligent and Adaptive Systems MSc is kindly funded through a generous donation from Sussex alumnus, Jan Metzger. The scholarship is open to all prospective applicants in Intelligent and Adaptive Systems MSc, commencing at Sussex in September 2019. The scholarship will be awarded as a tuition fee reduction.

Jan Metzger, the donor of the Metzger Scholarship works in banking, technology and knowledge management and is keen that recipients of this scholarship have a moral commitment to doing good in the world.  His preferred platform is the Tiki Wiki project and he is interested in ways scholars engage with the ‘open source world’ – open and free collaborative code development for solving real-world problems.
