“Do you see what I see?” Is my red the same as your red? If two people disagree on what is “green”, who is right?
Three speakers working in different fields discuss how humans respond to and feel about colour.
About the speakers:
Jenny Bosten is a Senior Lecturer at the University in Sussex who conducts research on colour science and individual differences and what this means for how we subjectively experience colours. She is a member of the Sussex Colour Group & Baby Lab.
Emma Bestley is the Creative Director & Co-Founder of YESColours, who are sponsors of our COLOUR exhibition.
Zeynep Sagir is an artist and colour consultant. She was awarded her MA degree at Central Saint Martins, researching colour perception and psychology. She is the founder of The Colour Club: www.thecolourclub.co.uk
The event is hosted by colour historian Dr Alexandra Loske, who is the curator of the exhibition COLOUR: A Chromatic Promenade Through the Royal Pavilion (21 March – 19 October 2025).and of the Royal Pavilion.
