Role
Ph.D. Research Student in Invertebrate Neuroscience (Dr.Jeremy Niven and Dr Andrew Philippides)
Associate Tutor: Physics for Neuroscientists, Principles of Neuroscience and Human Physiology
Community and Business
As a researcher in a University I believe I have a repsonsibility to engage with the public to inspire young people and disseminate the knowledge we acquire in our lab. Consequently I organise and demonstrate at various outreach events throughout the South East of England, representing the University of Sussex as a STEM ambassador (www.stemsussex.co.uk).
I also write a BLOG for people who are interested in in the field of invertebrate neuroscience, keeping readers up to date with interesting articles and occasionally throwing in some classics (https://invertebrateneuroscience.wordpress.com/).
