Biography
Bhargav Mitra obtained a DPhil in Engineering from the University of Sussex, United Kingdom, in September 2010 for a thesis entitled "Scene Segmentation Using Similarity, Motion and Depth Based Cues". He co-authored 11 journal and 9 conference papers and 5 technical reports while pursuing his doctoral degree at Sussex. His research interests include signal and image processing, pattern recognition, depth perception (3-D modeling), system modeling and video analytics. Bhargav is currently working as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Computer Vision in the Department of Informatics.
