New Springer Book Series: Call for Proposals

Global Maternal and Child Health: Medical, Anthropological and Public Health Perspectives is a new series published by Springer, one of the world’s foremost and most widely circulated publishers of social science, public health and medical books and journals.

Springer is holding a Call for Proposals for this new series – proposals can include both authored and edited books. The proposals are open to the most influential, educated minds in the field of global maternal and child health from the fields of Anthropology, Public Health, Medicine, and related fields.

In 2018, the Global Maternal and Child Health: Medical, Anthropological and Public Health Perspectives series is seeking proposals for new topics including, but not limited to:

  • Issues in Global Midwifery and Maternal Health
  • Public Health & Anthropological Aspects of Female Genital Mutilation
  • Stillbirth: A Persistent Tragedy
  • Anthropological and Public Health Aspects of Reproductive Health Among Recent Immigrants
  • Unsafe abortion and Unmet Need for Family Planning
  • Global Aspects of Preterm Delivery and Infant Morbidity and Mortality
