Hours: Part-time hours considered up to a maximum of  0.95 FTE. Requests for flexible working options will be considered (subject to business need). In-person teaching delivered on campus is a core part of this role.

An opportunity now exists for a specialist in histories of art and material culture in the long Nineteenth Century in Britain, with specific interests in gender and sexuality. You will be expected to consolidate and build on our longstanding teaching and research strength in this area, and our commitment to a long history of art.

Research-led teaching, good communication skills, and an ability to work productively as part of a friendly, team-oriented department are essential for this position.

The teaching commitment, 0.95 FTE, will be delivered during the University term, in addition to marking assessments and MA supervision during the whole of the period of the contract. An additional number of teaching hours may be available. The schedule will be discussed further at interview.
