This social space is a great area to relax, catch up with friends or play one of the many board games provided. You can order food in or bring your own. Check opening times and food options.
About The Bridge
This space bridges the divide between Pevensey I and Pevensey II. You can access the area through either building. The easiest way to gain entry is below the bridge itself, either through the double doors of Pevensey I or the large lift at the bottom of Pevensey II. The area is open as an intimate social space for any number of needs.
You can order hot food to be delivered in 30 minutes or less at the kiosk located at the top of the stairs or via the Uni Food Hub app.

Inside
The space is narrow and long, with lots of light coming from large wall-to-wall windows on both sides of the bridge, as well as a wall-to-ceiling window at one end that looks out onto campus. There are many wooden tables and chairs through the room, with a few lounging chairs situated at one end.
Outside
Although there is no dedicated outside space, there are several picnic benches on the slopes just outside Pevensey II and just down the road by the JMS building and Sussex House.

The Bridge’s food offer is delivered via the Uni Food Hub app. You can also pick up food from somewhere else on campus and bring it here to eat.
