Biography
Aleksandra completed Sussex Neuroscience 4-year PhD Programme, working with Professor Theodora Duka and Professor Hugo Critchley to investigate the factors that drive impulsive behaviour. After her PhD, she joined the Lab of Action and Body, led by Prof. Manos Tsakiris, at Royal Holloway, University of London, UK, working on neural correlates of interoception - the sense of the physiological state of the body. She also leads a line of work on the role of internal bodily sensations in guiding decision-making under uncertainty.
As a Visit Researcher at UoS, she works with Prof. Dora Duka to undertand better the relationship between emotions and impuslivity in alcohol binge drinking.
