Lehmann Lab

The Lehmann Laboratory

The Lehmann laboratory aims to understand the responses of human cells to ultraviolet light and the molecular basis for the defects in xeroderma pigmentosum, Cockayne Syndrome and trichothiodystrophy. Our studies are focussed on (1) the ways in which cells replicate DNA past damaged sites and (2) the structure and function of the Smc5-6 protein complex.

We also run a diagnostic service for the above-mentioned disorders.
