Lucile Capuron is Research Director at the INRA and associate team leader for Psychoneuroimmunology and nutrition at the University of Bordeaux. She also serves as adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychiatry in the Dept of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta.  Dr Capuron’s main research activity focuses on understanding the relationships between inflammation and neuropsychiatric symptoms in clinical/human settings and their modulation by nutritional and metabolic factors. Her current research program aims at understanding the role of metabolic-immune processes in mental wellbeing in populations with medical conditions including morbid obesity, type 2 diabetes, and major depression.
