Spring teaching

This module critically evaluates key concepts in public relations. It systematically explores current theoretical and critical debates around public relations and surveys PR practice as a strategic communication function. It additionally familiarises you with the process of campaign planning, implementation and evaluation, and requires them to apply this learning in planning a campaign.

Contact hours and workload

This module is approximately 300 hours of work. This breaks down into about 24 hours of contact time and about 276 hours of independent study. The University may make minor variations to the contact hours for operational reasons, including timetabling requirements.

We regularly review our modules to incorporate student feedback, staff expertise, as well as the latest research and teaching methodology.
