Sussex Pakistan Scholarship (2024)

This scholarship is for applicants who are a national of Pakistan, are classified as 'Overseas' for fee purposes and have been accepted to study an eligible Masters course at Sussex. From 2024, the value of the scholarship has been increased to £4,000.

Eligibility

  • Who is eligible

    To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

    • Be a national of Pakistan
    • Be classified as ‘overseas’ for fee purposes
    • Be taking up a place on a full time Masters degree, starting September 2024
    • Students with an offer to study in the University of Sussex Business School will be able to combine this scholarship with the Business School International Masters Award (2024). Students with an offer to study in the School of Engineering & Informatics will be able to combine this scholarship with the Engineering & Informatics International Masters Award (2024).
  • Who isn’t eligible

    You are not eligible for this scholarship if your full tuition fees will be paid to the university by a sponsor.

    You are not eligible for this scholarship if you are going to study any of the following:

      • Certificates and Diplomas (including PGCE)
      • Courses at Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS)
      • Courses at IDS
      • Early Years Education (with Early Years Teacher status)
      • Degrees in Social Work (if receiving an NHS bursary)
      • Online courses
      • School direct teaching courses
      • Masters funded by the research councils (e.g. ESRC 1+3 funding)

    As this scholarship is funded by the University of Sussex, it is not possible to combine this with other Sussex scholarships (e.g. Chancellor's International Scholarship).

How to apply

You can register your interest in the Sussex Pakistan Scholarship via the PG Apply portal when you accept our offer of a place on an eligible Masters course. If you have applied via one of our overseas representatives, you will need to ask them to do this on your behalf.

You must declare your interest in the scholarship via PG Apply before you register on your Masters degree. Information about the scholarship will be included in your CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) for your visa application, when it is produced. If the scholarship information is not showing on your CAS or you want to register for the scholarship after the CAS has been created, please contact the Admissions Office: pg.applicants@sussex.ac.uk.
