Young people and the EU Referendum

Abe Baldry is President of the University of Sussex Students' Union (USSU). Here, he gives his views on why young people might choose not to vote in the EU Referendum, and how USSU has been tackling the issue.

"The consequences of the EU referendum will have an enormous impact on young people, but we have been consistently ignored by politicians, and face a number of barriers to registering to vote.

"I went on the BBC to talk about the Student Union's voter registration campaign, and how politicians need to do more to engage young people in the political process."
