Master class: MA student Dvora Liberman (left) discusses her work with documentary film producer and director Cate Haste.
Film maker and Sussex alumna Cate Haste was back on campus this month to give a master class to students on the MA course 'Video Documentary in Contemporary History'.
Cate, who studied English between 1963 and 1966, went on to become a respected television documentary producer and director, working on ground-breaking documentaries such as Nazi Women, Cold War and Married to the Prime Minister.
Students were able to discuss their forthcoming projects with Cate.
Course tutor Lee Gooding said: "I am delighted Cate came back to Sussex to share her expertise with today's students, who found the experience extremely beneficial."
The visit was organised by the Development and Alumni Relations Office.
