Forests and Cosmologies: a Liberal Arts talk from Kichwa activist Paccha Turner Chuji

Speaker: Paccha Turner Chuji
Kichwa activist and scholar Paccha Turner Chuji will give a talk for the Liberal Arts degree on the cosmology and social life of the indigenous Kichwa people of South America. We will learn from Paccha about Sumak Kawsay, a concept central to Amazonian Kichwa culture and consider its relevance in facing contemporary social, cultural, environmental and economic crises.
This talk will be on zoom.
All are welcome, especially UG students.
There will be plenty of time for a Q&A
