Linocut Demonstration and Workshop with Daria Arta
Join The Print Group for an exciting in-person session where Daria Arta will guide you through the art of linocut! Daria will provide a demonstration and participants will have a chance to get some hands-on experience and see some cool techniques. The workshop will include a chance to operate our 19th-century Albion Press with our newly created linocut creations and letterpress captions.
The workshop is free, but places are limited – Book your spot now on EVENTBRITE.
Daria Arta, Sussex-based printmaker and artist, has lifelong passion for visual arts; she studied academic drawing and painting, spent a couple of years as an apprentice with a Batik studio, working on commissioned decorative fabric pieces and has an MA in Arts & Cultural Policy. She started practicing linocut printmaking several years ago and it quickly became one of her favourite techniques. You can find some of her art on www.dasharta.com
