Join our Herratige Orchard Care Session
Thursday 11 December 14:30 until 15:30
University of Sussex Campus : Campus Orchard
Did you know Sussex has its own small Heritage Orchard on campus?
Join us for a relaxed and informative session where you’ll learn how to prune and care for young apple trees, what to look out for as they grow, and how you can help support this community-led biodiversity project with minimal ongoing effort.
The session will be hosted by Paul Wiggins. Paul is the associate tutor on the Food Forest Garden elective module and runs Rooted Fruit Tree Services and Education.
We’re looking for volunteers to keep an eye on the orchard, helping ensure the trees stay healthy as they grow, blossom and eventually begin to fruit. If you think this could be you, come along!
