Join us this October as Black at Sussex unveil a powerful portrait series by Eddie Otchere and Charlie Phillips, celebrating Black alumni at Sussex. Come and explore the photography and enjoy the history of Sussex alum. This event honours Black legacy through storytelling, art and radical presence.

BLM Protest: Then & Now

This powerful exhibition revisits Brighton’s 2020 Black Lives Matter protests through art, photography, and oral history. Curated by Erin James and Jean Jules Wachter, it reflects on progress, resistance and memory - reclaiming space and reminding us that the fight for racial justice is far from over. This exhibition is made possible by Brighton & Hove Museums and BARCO.
