At the end of this month, from 21 July to 3 August, important work will be done to make the Library building more accessible by widening the step-free entrance next to IDS. In order to achieve this, the step-free entrance must be temporarily closed while the work is carried out.
We will ensure that the Library remains accessible to all over this period. The front entrance to the Library will remain open, and for those who cannot access the building via this route, we will provide:
- Book collection service,
- Book delivery service,
- Entry to the building through the accessible staff entrance. This can be organised in advance by emailing library@sussex.ac.uk or arranged on arrival.
Online resources and support will continue to be available including our chat service and bookable 1-2-1’s for study support, which can be delivered remotely.
Should you prefer to study elsewhere over this period, the Student Centre will be open along with other study spaces on campus.
If you would like to know more about using any of these services please email library@sussex.ac.uk.
