Registration is open for Eastern ARC's Sanctuary Solidarities Conference at Sussex
Posted on behalf of: Eastern ARC
Last updated: Monday, 14 July 2025

The annual conference is open to all and will focus on the fourth of Eastern ARC’s priorities, Sanctuary, and uses the anniversaries of the founding of United Nations High Commission for Refugees and the Cities of Sanctuary movement to explore a diverse range of issues for refugees, migrants and those seeking sanctuary, and for those supporting them. These include:
- Educational and employment challenges for refugees
- Partnership-building with universities in regions of conflict
- Using the creative arts in community building
- Working with host communities to address worries and fears
- Addressing ethical issues around refugee research
- Highlighting the legal framework of support for refugees.
To register, please complete this form by 7 August 2025.
We will only confirm your place after the closing date, as we are keen to have as wide a representation of individuals and organisations at the conference as possible, and therefore will try and strike a balance between those represented.
The full programme is available here.
