Improving Life Outcomes and Through Post 16 Education

The day will include:
- A keynote address exploring current research and policy issues relating to: Post 16 transitions, Education and Labour Market Opportunities and Life Chances
- Two presentations of recently completed research:
- Understanding embodied learning in Level One Construction classrooms in FE (Greg Campbell)
- Navigating Post 16 education, employment and training trajectories from Alternative Provision (Hannah Olle)
- A policy and practice panel discussion, that will allow a wide range of sector and service experiences on challenges, opportunities and needs to be shared
- Opportunity for questions and discussion around each session
- Refreshments and a sandwich lunch provided
