Dementia Research Conference

Register now for this free online conference exploring the latest in dementia research, hosted by Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS) and the Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SPFT).
This two-day online event, taking place on Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 May, will feature a range of experts in dementia research, as well as local researchers and representation from people living with dementia who contribute to and shape our research.
This year's conference theme is Ageing and Dementia and the conference will be chaired by Dr Dorina Cadar, Reader in Neuroepidemiology and Dementia at the Centre for Dementia Studies, BSMS.
You are welcome to attend either or both full days of the conference, or part days according to your schedule.
Keynote speakers include:
- Prof James Rowe – Cambridge Centre for Frontotemporal Dementia and Related Disorders and Associate Director, Dementias Platform UK
- Prof Mark Hayward – Practicing clinical psychologist and Director of Research at the Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
- Dr Sarah Bauermeister – Associate Professor of Cognitive Neuropsychology, University of Oxford and Senior Scientist for Dementias Platform UK
- Dr Ivan Koychev – Consultant Neuropsychiatrist, Imperial College London and Central North West London NHS Foundation Trust.
